The above is the opening paragraph from the recent Ofsted inspection report for Thornton Primary School, Bradford. The inspection took place on the 16th and 17th January 2020 and was the first inspection since Thornton Primary School (judged Requires Improvement) joined Focus-Trust on 1 February 2017. The school has been on a long journey and we are delighted they have now been judged to be Good overall. To achieve this under the new rigorous Ofsted inspection framework is a fantastic achievement.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved at Thornton.
